With the increase in domestic tourism, many Nepali travellers have also started to enjoy trekking. 

    While most travellers trek in a group or with a guide, some prefer solitude to enjoy nature on their own. Nepal is indeed a safe country for solo female travellers however, there are always exceptions.

Even though it is quite a rollercoaster ride to trek to Everest Base camp, everything is worth it. However, being a female traveller, do take all the sanitary products you might need because it is a long trek and it might not be available in those areas. 

    2. Annapurna Base Camp

    Another base camp that is safe for solo female travellers. The Annapurna base camp is no less gorgeous than any other base camps. It is an easier and shorter trek than other high altitude treks. If you trek during spring, you’ll be lucky to see clear skies with breathtaking close views of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli and Dhaulagiri. You’ll see beautiful red and white Rhododendron on the way, basically the best time to travel for exotic flora and fauna. If you have less time and still want to experience the beauty of the Himalayas, then you have to travel here. This trek provides the closest view of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. There’s so much you can explore, including the hills, the wildlife, the flora and fauna, the food, culture and so much more. It is absolutely safe for solo female travellers because you can find plenty of lodges owned by the locals. 

    8. Poon Hill

However, the Mardi Himal has its own trekking route. Since people usually combine this trek with other trekking trails, the accommodation is quite good.
