Fans of Friends rejoice! After much speculation, Friends has finally started filming for their special reunion episode. The news went viral after photos of the studio were uploaded to the official Friends Instagram and Twitter.
The original cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer will reprise their original roles in the Reunion special episode. It is said that the episode will be unscripted.
Rumours of a reunion special have been going around for quite some time but it was never confirmed nor denied. However, the episode was supposed to start shooting in March 2020 in front of a live audience. The spread of the global pandemic resulted in the delay of the filming.
The Friends Reunion episode is said to be released later this year.
